Gregory S. Widrick - Managing Partner

Founding partner of Sphere Development, Greg has over 14 years of experience in commercial real estate development.  Greg started his real estate career in Manhattan working on real estate transactions for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC). In 2000 Greg decided to move closer to his family in upstate New York. Greg's passion for deal structure and negotiations lead him to become one of the most sought after commercial real estate representatives in the northeast.  Greg earned a Juris Doctorate, with honors, from Quinnipiac University and a BS in economics from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Greg also contributes his time as a volunteer ambulance driver for the Village of Cazenovia.  He is currently working towards becoming an EMT, which will allow him to give back to the community in a very meaningful way.


Kurt F. Wendler - Managing Partner

Founding partner of Sphere Development, Kurt has a wealth of business experience. Kurt started his career with KPMG and worked in public accounting for several years with a focus on audit and taxes. In the private sector Kurt has worked as a controller and financial officer. Kurt's entrepreneurial spirit and financial background where a natural fit in founding Sphere Development. Kurt has over 10 years of real estate experience. As an upstate New York native Kurt is proud of the accomplishments Sphere Development has enjoyed in New York State. Kurt is a CPA in the State of New York and earned his BA in Accounting from Canisius College. Kurt also serves on the finance committee at his church in Manlius, NY and is a board member at the Eastside YMCA in Fayetteville, NY.


Thomas A. Cooney - Development & Construction Partner

Prior to forming Patriot Enterprises of New York, a full service construction management firm of retail properties, Tom was a Director of Business Development for TWG Construction Company, Inc., a subsidiary of The Widewaters Group. Tom also has extensive project management and development experience with The Edgewater Companies. Tom is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of New York. Tom earned his BS in Environmental and Resource Engineering from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University. Tom also contributes his time as a volunteer ambulance driver for the Village of Cazenovia

Craig Hansen - Development & Construction Partner

Prior to forming Patriot Enterprises of New York, a full service construction management firm of retail properties, Craig was a Senior Project Manager for TWG Construction Company, Inc., a subsidiary of The Widewaters Group. Craig was also a Project Superintendent for Benderson Development prior to joining TWG. Craig earned his BS in Construction Management from Syracuse University, Utica College.

Prior to forming Patriot Enterprises of New York, a full service construction management firm of retail properties, Gregory was a Senior Cost Estimator for TWG Construction Company, Inc., a subsidiary of The Widewaters Group. His group was responsible for managing the competitive bidding process for its clients and conducting estimates for potential developments and design build proposals. Gregory is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators. Gregory earned his BS in Business Administration and Economics from SUNY College at Oswego.
